Organic Vegan EFA Liquid is a great-tasting blend of organic plant oils that contributes to good health. Flaxseed oil is a naturally high source of the omega-3 fatty acid ALA.1 Hempseed, pumpkinseed, and black cumin seed oil provide high levels of the omega-6 fatty acid LA.2-4 Coconut oil contains mostly medium chain saturated fatty acids, which are efficiently metabolized for energy and are not used for cholesterol synthesis.5 Omega-6 fatty acids are especially important for supporting normal epithelial cell function, and deficiencies have been associated with the loss of moisture in the skin and eyes.6,7 L-arginine in coconut oil, along with thymoquinone in black cumin seed oil, and beta carotene in pumpkinseed oil further support optimal health by decreasing oxidative stress.4,5,8
